University of Oxford Academic Discussion

Healthy Boundaries and Women’s Empowerment”

Why do successful, educated women sometimes find it challenging to overcome feelings of inferiority? Why can the Mindful Coaching paradigm be so empowering for women? To what extent does the tradition of male chauvinism still influence the power dynamics between women and men?

Professor Maria Jaschok has dedicated her career to advocating for women’s empowerment. Maria will share, along with Dr. Chou Wah-Shan, their personal experiences as well as nuanced perspectives from academic research focusing on “maintaining healthy boundaries in interpersonal relationships”.

Professor Maria Jaschok is a highly esteemed scholar in Chinese women’s studies. This is a rare opportunity to hear two distinguished teachers exchange ideas, where great wisdom and compassion for women will shine through.
